This page has some resources on the Angolan language Kimbundu. I hope this contributes to the study and use of this important language, in all its interesting variations. And I especially hope that this will in turn contribute to the understanding and appreciation of the histories and current realities of Kimbundu speakers, as well as to their well-being today.
The lists below seek to gather in a more systematic way the increasing references and materials related to Kimbundu. The primary resource is a set of references to written material. Please be in contact if you would like to contribute to this. One of the best places to start is Professor Carolyn Vieira-Martinez’s excellent 2006 PhD dissertation.
